We assist clients in structuring their corporate affairs in a tax efficient manner.  We provide tax planning advice to business owners contemplating a sale of their business, to purchasers of a business and tax advice (including income tax, commodity tax and other taxes in operating a business).  We work closely with clients' accountants and insurance advisors in this area.

Jay Humphrey has extensive experience in tax dispute matters having appeared numerous times before the Tax Court of Canada and the Federal Court of Canada and continues to assist clients in dealing with tax authorities.
